... says KellyAnne Conway's husband:
Seems pretty cut and dried. Why can't Trump just follow the laws as they are written?
Judging by what goes on in Florida, you don't have to, right?
Here's more on the topic..........
Not so. The Vacancies Act enables the president to name an acting officer, who may serve as such for 210 days, as long as the person named has been working at the agency or department for at least 90 days in a fairly high-ranking position. Whitaker qualifies.
Better question why can't he read the vacancies act
"I don't know Matt Whitaker." ~ President Donald Trump, yesterday
"I can tell you Matt Whitaker's a great guy, I mean, I know Matt Whitaker." ~ President Donald Trump, last month
TC, I have days like that with my spouse.
It amazes me that so many lefties whine about "why isn't he following the law" when what they really mean is "why doesn't he do what I agree with"?
Odd. They didn't wonder about Obama doing things with "his pen and his phone" that he had said were unconstitutional just a few months prior.
"It amazes me that so many lefties whine about "why isn't he following the law" when what they really mean is "why doesn't he do what I agree with"?"
Please. You guys do that more than we do. If anything, when I type that, it's a sarcastic impression of the conservative go to move.
Interesting. So it's definitely not as cut and dried as Conway's husband asserts (of course I can just point out that he's an idiot if he's wrong, so I put some hedge room for myself there).
But it's interesting that none other than Clarence Thomas suggests that the VRA itself might be unconstitutional:
Nonsense AC. Nobody has EVER done it as much as lefties are right now. EVER.
