Kavenaugh's closed the deal

I'm calling it.

Anyone else want to stake out a position on this?

One would hope that Kavanaugh

One would hope that Kavanaugh has been vindicated by the end of the week.......but after the Obamacare vote how can you trust Collins to do the right thing?Trump said it yesterday ,if they investigated Kavanaugh for ten years it wouldn’t be enough for the democrats. The hypocrisy of the left has been on full display ,while they have ignored or embraced their own sexual abusers, drunks, and angry people (how about mad Maxine for an example?)They have tried to make much out of Kavaungh’s prep school, frat boy past.......I think much more of America is watching the left’s performance and it will show in November . Feinstein,Blumenthal,Booker and Harris looked like an assclown rodeo.....while dicky Durbin continued to try to be the tallest dwarf in a party full of midgets

It seems obvious that Collins has had a visceral distaste for Trump from square one. She made comments alluding to her preferring the hildebeast over Trump, and has been slouching towards "Flake territory" for some time. Trusting her from the conservative perspective is a fool's errand at the very best.

BTW, just what use is a "lawmaker"/legislator who's stock in trade is being soooo contemplative, but can't make up their mind? Sleeping with the enemy, while in the same breath correcting we constitutionalist conservatives, and taking care of sleazy Susan's interests is all she really amounts to. Listening to and voting for her is our only error.

They are trying to make a big

They are trying to make a big deal now about Kavanaugh ‘s “temperament” hilarity was making a big deal of it yesterday on some buolshit interview.
The dimocrats are now claiming that his anger towards the left’s attempt to smear him should disqualify him because he is so partisan..
These are the same people who claim that those invoked in the fbi trump investigation are simply professionals and their personal political belief s never come into play when their official duties are involved..more liberal hypocrisy
Maybe the liberals think that one of the prerequisites for being a SC Justice is they aren’t supposed to say shit even when they have a mouthful.......I wish he had have gone after Feinstein directly about not asking him about ford during the private interview....

The conclusion is always the

The conclusion is always the same with the Soros/left, that being that you can't be correct until you let us roll over you. What the socialist pack O punks have done, especially to Kavanaugh's family could earn you a matched set of broken knees, or worse, in some neighborhoods, so save your fallacious drama for someone stupid enough to care what you say you think. BTW, exactly what do these social mutants have to offer? While hate, lies and dissention abound, what do they have that will benefit my grandchildren? I would like a little something as well in my declining years, but not their self-serving lies and horse shit.................. I am not interested in their "philosophy". I've read Alinsky long ago and the only thing mildly interesting is that part of his formative "education" was with the mob. That shows up today-every day long after his death with the punks of the left.

A good summary of all the

A good summary of all the lies and hypocrisy in the current debacle.

This article quotes - at the end - polls from the Harvard Center for American Political Studies that show growing support for confirmation...

https://patriotpost.us/alexander/58633-the-feinstein-slash-ford-blockade...

As we await the FBI report, notably, a Harvard Center for American Political Studies poll was just released, and according to that survey this week, 60% of Americans support Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation if the FBI finds no other evidence to corroborate Ford’s accusations. And 75% of respondents believe that Feinstein should have provided Ford’s letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee when she received it in July, rather than waiting until Kavanaugh’s hearing had concluded.

The referenced poll:

Confirmed.

Confirmed.

Ford's star witness has spoken: "Not me."

EXCLUSIVE: 'Christine Ford threw her under the bus.' Strained 'sex assault' witness Leland Keyser is seen for the first time as close family member confirms she did NOT corroborate school friend Ford's story to FBI

What could go wrong? Alphabetically speaking, both Flake and Collins vote early in the roll. One R no could be sufficient cover for a red state D to vote no.

I watched Flake flaking in an interview earlier today. Flake and Coons are upset with Trump for calling out Ms. Ford but both agreed the votes won't change.

The source article read 'Flake and Suzie Pissed at Trump' but Suzie wasn't actually featured . . now she's really pissed.

From what I've read and heard

From what I've read and heard, if there was such a thing as "social justice," the so called Prof. Blasey-Ford would be tossed out of the courtroom...or the hearing room...or whatever venue is involved here.

Some of the MSM are almost in

Some of the MSM are almost in tears. I suppose there is a small chance something could change, but as it stands it's a done deal.

Not tired of winning yet. Not by a long shot.

What is more important is the lefties spent more political capital trying to stop Kavenaugh (and failing) then the pubbies did getting him through. Major net gain for the 'pubs, plus we saw some spine on that side for once.

This is a game-changer.

No matter what else I have

No matter what else I have thought and said about Susan over the years, she gets my respect for the latter 20 minutes or so of her speech that I heard. With one or two minor points, she did a brilliant job.

Would it be too much to hope that this whole bizarre show has left her "woke," if only partially?

Ford will be a leftie icon

Ford will be a leftie icon for the near future, we'll see her all over the MSM for every election. The 'pubs could have gone in for the kill shot with the major credibility issues, but they pulled their punches on her, and took potshots on the lawyers instead. That will come back to haunt them.

She'll be "Abortion Barbie" on steroids.

You reading this, Lance?

You reading this, Lance? Your girl done good. Anyone else would have lost me on length (44 minutes) or when she switched to Al Gore rhythms.

I was a little concerned that she held the world in suspense on a Friday afternoon. I was in IL and all media at least mentioned her 3 o'clock reveal. Big surprise, good call and good job.

Coincidentally, the twitter feed on the AMG home page has gone silent. Prior to Suzie's big moment, it was wild with admonitions that Suzie vote no, or else.

Mel and all

Mel and all

I have to agree Collins did her homework and it was quite convincing. I have to admit, my opinion of her and her staff turned around, they did a thorough job of putting the facts together both past and present.

Well done Senator Collins.

As far as King goes, I'd bet he couldn't even utter a few sentences of why he will vote no on Kavanaugh, other than Chuckie Schumer and Feinstein told me how I must vote. That's MR Independent for you.

I rode thru Brunswick yesterday wondering if Maine wouldn't be better off with out Bowdoin luring carpetbaggers like him to our state, then I remembered that it is actually in Massahampshire, anyway.

Had Collins been publicly appalled and critical of her own party, her same speech would be lauded as even greater than the Declaration of Conscience of Margaret Chase Smith by the treacherous imbeciles in the media.

Any of you that think Susie

Any of you that think Susie didn't plan, scheme, scam, and engineered this whole scenario in order to make herself the center of political attention are woefully naïve or completely ignorant as to the state of politics in today's DC.
She should never have allowed the left to get a chink in the GOP armor, which is exactly what she did by playing the undecided card.
I wish to hell she would declare with the democrat party, to which, she should belong.
