Why would anyone want the

Why would anyone want the federal government to dictate, from a cubicle in DC, what transpires on public lands, anywhere?
These federal lands with absolutely no reason for federal protection should be administered by states, counties, and even municipalities or sold to the highest bidder, who would take much better care of it than any federal bureaucrat.
Much of the success of this country is due to the idea of private property rights which has been the backbone of the capitalistic system that has made America great.
Radical environmentalists have hijacked the Dept. of the Interior in order to control and expand what amounts to a land grab scheme.
These people, socialists to the core, think that any land that isn't under some sort of control is "lost".
It's time to revolt against this takeover, and I thank people like the Bundys for "taking it to the streets", so to speak.

I agree on land control

I agree on land control issues.
As for the crusaders well that all depend on ones choice of martyrs to carry the flag into battle .
Is the issue settled ?

Public awareness. Of the

Public awareness. Of the corruption within the BLM, if nothing else.

There is much to be done in ridding ourselves of the heavy-handedness of unfettered federal agencies.

All journeys have a start and

All journeys have a start and a finish, Bruce.
This was the start.
No one would have ever heard of the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, and the Hammond Ranch in Oregon had this not been brought to the nation's attention by these fed up individuals.
Sadly, many have been taken in, as usual, by the bias fake news reports from the MSM and haven't a clue what the real issues are.

The only way to stop these bureaucratic monstrosities is by choking them off.
Trump is doing that as we speak.
It's predicted that EPA, alone, will have nearly half of it's work?force gone within two years.
Let's hope he sees his error in choosing Zinke as his Interior guy.
He's just another enviromaniac that looks at private property as "lost".

You took the words right out of my mouth. Zinke talks a good talk, as many of us found out, but his philosophy regarding federal land ownership vs private land ownership, along with his own political ambitions, make him the wrong person to clean up the DOI.

It's interesting that Trump hasn't yet followed through on his (Zinke's) recommendations for this monument scam in Maine.
